Grimnir's Nyssa & Fleming Forest Myths

Sandra sent us some pictures of Nyssa and Fleming in their new home.
For us it's very important that our kittens and neuters have a nice home and a nice family to live with.
Sandra is giving them all the love, care and attention they need and judging by the pictures we saw, we are definitelly sure of that ;-)

Breeeding sometimes is hard...

Sometimes, somethings are just not meant to be and sometimes life can be very unfair...

After Stratocaster has been again hospitalized, i thought that maybe she would have a chance to recover from the severe infection she had in her uterus and from the peritonitis... We breeders always count on the gifted hands and knowledge of our vets but deep down, they only do what they can and besides miracles exist, sometimes somethings are just not meant to be...
My beautiful Stratocaster Blue Tanis passed away April 10th at 19 o'clock... :´(

We still don´t understand how could she hold a dead kitten in her uterus so long without giving us any signs that something was wrong...
I want to believe that she gave her life for the kittens... She wanted so much to spend as much time as possible with her kittens that she protected them until the last minute she could not resist anymore to what was happening inside of her... That´s how i see it... That´s how i want to remember Stratocaster ♥ My white princess ♥

The last two days of her life, Stratocaster suffered a lot in silence and i´m so sorry for that :´(
I blame myself for all the pain  she has been through... but no tears will bring her back and i only wish i could have done more for her... Nothing will bring her back... It´s my time of pain now...


The kittens she left us are as beautiful as her and fortunatelly they were adopted by one of our breeding females that also had babies a few weeks ago. We have to thank Strato´s guardian angels for that ♥

Watching her babies is a reflexion of her soul and we´ll keep the only girl she presented us with - Glamour.
Glamour will be a mirror image of her mother´s soul and shine...

People that followed Stratocaster´s sad story, especially our close friends, know how important she was to us.
Stratocaster was very loved and forever she´ll be in our hearts.
Strato was already a star between us but now..., she´s really a STAR ♥

Stratocaster Blue Tanis ♥

Sometimes things happen for a reason or at least i want to believe that although i think that not always they make sense or justice... They are just not meant to be...

Our beautiful Stratocaster, the white princess, had to be urgently neutered yesterday after giving birth to 5 beautiful kittens 2 weeks ago.

Everything was going normal, with Strato and her kittens. She was eating and drinking well, doing her needs, feeding the kittens all the time and always with a nice and happy look in her expression that never made us think that something was wrong...
Saturday evening, she and the kittens were doing very well without any apparently reason to worry about... Yesterday morning (Sunday), when we went to her room to see how the kittens were, like we do every morning and many times during the day/evening, we saw Strato alone in a corner of the room very sad and ill. We took her temperature and she was 40,5 :( We took her immeadiatelly to the vet to find out what was going on. After an eco, the vet discovered a 6th kitten in her uterus in an advanced stage of decomposition :( She was operated immeadiatelly! The entire uterus was already rotten and the infection had spread to other organs... A few hours after the surgery, she came home to rest next to us and with especific indications from the vet concerning the medication (antibiotics and pain killers).
Today she was no better... She didn't eat or drink or did her needs... Her chest was getting dark purple, an indication that the infection is strong and that is taking over her body :( Stratocaster was hospitalized again today until she gets better and we are trying to keep positive... But we are afraid :(

This was her second and last litter... and we had so many plans for her still... Her kittens are now being fed by our sweet and caring Katie that was also a mother 5 weeks ago.
Super Kat!!! We are so proud of her... Without her, it would be difficult for us and the kittens. We just hope now that Strato gets better soon and comes home again to us and her babies ♥

Welcome Katha ♥

Yesterday was a day quite happy for us.
We were very pleased to receive Katha Bjorn again in our family after almost 6 years, more specifically 5 years and 8 months ago.
Katha is a son of Okkie with Uno and besides he's one of the best kittens Uno has ever made, he was always very special to Fred. 
Katha followed his fathers steps and thanks to Sissel, from Antrillo's cattery in Denmark, that showed him so well and toke so good care of him all these years, he's the cat he is now - Supreme Champion, also DVM and still looking stunning!!!!! =)
For personal reasons, Sissel asked us to take care of Katha from now on and we gladly accepted, not only because she's a very good friend of us but also because Katha is so special and because he is a great addition to our breeding project and we are very proud to have him back!
 Thank you so much Sissel for entrusting us the beautiful and super sweet Katha. We know you love him deeply and that you'll miss him a lot...

Nyssa & Uno

Nyssa and Uno have found new lovely and reliable homes to live happy as pets until the end of their lives.
Their contribute for the breed was huge and we are SO PROUD of the offsprings they gave us during all these years.
They were and still are very important to us and we will keep following their lives through their new owners.

Forest Myths G-litter ♥

When we arrived home from the show in Shiedam, Stratocaster surprised us by giving us the pleasure to see her kittens that we were so anxious to see since the 23th, expected date for her to deliver...

Everything went well and mother and kittens are doing great :-)
Strato gave birth to one black tabby with white girl, 3 black solid with white boys and one white boy ♥
The weights are between 121 and 139 grs.
