Inocente Beauty Forest Myths left to Canada

So this morning, our super sweet Inocente, left our home to catch her flight straight to Toronto (Canada) to meet her new family and Diesel.
We'll miss her very much!!
She was always around us, purring all the time, asking to be cuddled and picked up all the time and having a great time with Rebi Cats Baby ♥
They were like sisters these two... ♥
We're sure that Inocente will delight Kat and her family very much and that she'll have a great and happy life!

Sterrekatten's Honey Bunny in UK

And our gorgeous Sterrekatten's Honey Bunny participated at a show in Bourne (UK) this past weekend and she got the Ex1, BIV, NOM and Best in Show in the class 6-10 :-))

We couldn't be more proud of our beautiful youngsters... ♥

Ghost Rider Forest Myths show results in Lausanne (CH)

Ghost Rider moved to his new home 2 weeks ago.
He went to Sarah Runzis's cattery - Av Skara Brae - in France, to be a part of her family and to make company to our beloved SC Sterrekatten's Zeus :-)

Ghost participated this past weekend at a show in Lausanne (Switzerland) and he behaved very well having achieved very nice results...
On Saturday (20th of Octobre 2012 ) he got the Ex1, BIV, NOM and Best In Show.
On Sunday (21st of October 2012) he got the Ex1, NOM and again the Best In Show.

We are so very proud of our little boy...
Ghost is a very beautiful and strong youngster male.
We are sure that he'll bring much happiness to Sarah and her family :-)

How our Glamour Girl is looking now... ;-)

Our beautiful Glamour Girl is becoming a very strong, gorgeous and big girl ♥
With 6,5 months old, she weights 4 kg which we consider to be a very nice weigh for her age.
It has been a pleasure to follow her development and watching the ressemblance with her mother Stratocaster Blue Tanis.
We are so happy for the decision we took in keeping this girl...
Glamour is the apple of my eyes ♥♥♥

Sterrekatten's I Got You Babe Best in Show in Romania

One more Sterrekatten kitten won 2 Best in Shows in a row this weekend :-D
Sterrekatten's I Got You Babe 'Babe' participated at a show in Bucharest, Romania this past weekend and in both days, in the class 6-10 months, she obtained Exc1, BIV, Nom, Best in Show junior :)))))))
We are super happy with these results and we want to thank Tatyana Misiyuk for showing 'our' "Babe" so well ♥♥♥

'Babe' is a daughter of Katie Escarlata Vikingo*ES & Karlik Karodok*PL.
These were the last pictures taken from 'Babe' before she moves to Ukraine to the cattery Astra Polaris :-)
We are still waiting for new ones and as soon as we get them, we'll post them here ;-)

Inocente Beauty Forest Myths

Inocente is developing very nicely and she's becoming a big girl... still very naughty and very playfull but super sweet as her parents.
This girl loves lap and to lay down next to us and to be cuddled all the time ❤

DK Rebi Cats Baby, du har det

This beautiful kitten is our most recent baby, future breeding queen ♥.
For 2 years now, we were looking for a very nice tortie to add to our family and this baby girl stole my heart the first moment i saw her...
She has the most sweetest temper i could wish for and a beautiful type, size and boning.
We are so looking forward to see her grow and to make her super happy!

About us

From 2003 until 2010 Fred was the man behind Sterrekatten. Now Fred and Andrea from Forest Myths cattery joined forces into a renewed Sterrekatten & Forest Myths cattery.
We want to combine our best cats to make a new step in improving the quality of our breeding. We have selected our best cats from our former catteries , neutered the others and gave them new homes where they can live as pets. We will make our new start in 2011 with the selected breedingcats.
Our general goal is to breed big and strong cats with excellent qualities like wild expression, big ears with tufts and an excellent coat. We have selected our breeding cats according to these qualities.

NFO Temper

A well-socialized and carefully bred Norwegian has a tolerant and stable temperament. They are not easily thrown off balance by anything and aggression and anxiety are foreign to them. They have a strong tendency to attach themselves to one person in particular. They like being with their people, but prefer lying beside their owners rather than on them. They regard a visitor with some caution at first, before they decide to make friends, but always in a self-confident manner. They usually communicate with humans by means of subtle body language and eye contact and despite being very playful, they can pass unnoticed among us

NFO Appearence

The Norwegian is a large, powerfully built cat with a massive skeletal structure and a long body. Males weigh on average 12 to 19 pounds, whilst females are in general lighter in build and smaller, although in some bloodlines there are exceptions. The cat stands high on its legs and has large, round paws. The hind legs are longer than the front ones. The tail is bushy and when held along the back should reach at least as far as the shoulder blades. It can take three years before the cat is fully grown.

NFO Care and maintenance

A Norwegian Forest cat with a well-structured coat, typical of the breed, needs scarcely any grooming. In Spring the coat undergoes a heavy, but short lasting molt, losing a high proportion of the undercoat. Many breeders do not brush or comb their animals, but pick loose dead hairs from the coat with thumb and forefinger, since too much brushing can cause "gaps" in the coat. There is usually an appreciable difference between the appearence of a Norwegian in winter and in summer. In the winter, the coat is luxurious, very dense, and often with a large ruff, while in summer the cat can look almost shorthaired.
